Is it me or the Burlap looks unfinished? The color or texture is not as good as the other species I've seen...

Yeah the burlap looks off... I think cause it's just flat texture that doesn't really wrap around the Ruki's form

Came to comment the same on the burlap. It had potential, but it just looks so flat. I do love the NC cap though

I'm mad. The one time in my life my pet wins the PPL and it skipped us.
Petpet is unzapped, 1300+ days old, should've gotten bronze, but is not in the list.
Read on JN that it's a known glitch. Sent in a ticket, hopefully I'll still get my trophy.

i hope its JUST the thumbnail but that new ruki skirt is lacking so much detail. its so flat. jeez...

also i love the theming and the looks of the pet day capsule, but not making the outfit an actual... outfit. consisting of various parts we can mix and match, instead of a faux-token really sucks and imo limits the potential of what to do with the pet capsule.

but i don't think i've seen a pet capsule so far that i'm like "i MUST own this!". maybe neopets doesnt want to make NC clothes that are restricted to a single species. iunno;

omg, the same intern that did the Burlap Hissi did the Burlap Ruki. The burlap texture is barely there at all and is TINY. There's no color contrast to make it visible and it's just... so poorly executed compared to other Burlaps. There is such a stark and obvious difference between this, the Burlap Hissi, and like.... the Burlap Draik or Aisha.

Agree the burlap feels off, though I really like the patterned fabric! (for people who don't know, during the depression flour companies would make their sacks pattenred, which people would then use to make clothes - look up flour sack dresses or feed sack dresses)

If only the brown parts were better patterned, I'd absolutely get a Ruki!

I quilt. This Burlap Ruki made me squeal with delight, I'm in love! The outfit and fact that her leg is crossed over the other, I SO LOVE THIS. Yes!! Outfits can change their poses! Been waiting for them to get there with this. The possibilities.

While I love what they did with the NC outfit, making for a very cool-looking, alternative Ruki... I just cannot see the pose being correct. That one front leg resting over the other just looks really weird to me, and I had the hardest time figuring out whether they lost an arm, or if it's hidden somewhere (it's the latter). Aside from that, I'd say the execution is great. The rest of the capsule is mediocre

Burlap will never be my colour. I always find it uncanny. And while this one looks more cure than scary, it's still not for me. And if people say it's unfinished-looking, then I believe that

I like the cartographer outfit. Or.. the idea of it anyway, as well as the overall look of it. That compass does not look like it fits in the hand at all. I wonder who messed that up. Furthermore, the pieces of the outfit should have been separated, but we all know TNT is allergic to that these days..

All in all not a terrible pet day if you ask me!

I'm generally not very interested in Ruki's but I like that cartographer outfit. Not quite enough to get a Ruki though, I think. And someone needs to teach the designer how to work a compass. That's not the way.

The cartographer outfit looks like something for the Cog's Tog, ngl o .o

Like that most of the nc ruki items actually go together, but booooooo for the recolored aura item thrown in there with it. It's interesting to see the "outfit" items they create for one off characters, would consider actually using them if they didn't have clothes forced on them, especially considering the pose is almost standard for the species!

Although I agree there's something off about the burlap. I think it's that the weave is too fine, and there's not enough contrast in the lines and shading so it looks flat and doesn't have the visual impact of other burlap pets.
