This pet day has no HTML5 conversions—because Moehog Day earlier this month officially marked the completion of TNT converting Pet Day outfits to properly work in the customisation app and on lookups! 🎉

Valentine Koi is very pretty!

The Pet Capsule Koi is very pretty, but also... kind of too far off style and more "human with markings" than anthropomorphized. I wouldn't have recognised it as a Neopet. Maybe a Neopet fanart. The placement is also weirdly low for a mermaid that's swimming and the tail is just kind of... there. Eh. I want to like it. Wish I could. Happy for those that do.

The valentine koi feels a bit simple? Partially wish the fins or whiskers were more heart shaped

The gradient on Valentine Koi is lovely. The Elegant Koi Outfit creeps me out. That isn't a Koi.

yeah the koi outfit it is pretty... but IS very much off-model.
that isn't a koi from neopets.com... that's just an actual anthropomorphized koi fish. she's missing the icon koi whiskers and instead has weird fin ears.

Yeah, the outfits have to at least maintain a recognizable face. They do struggle with staying on model when they can't just copy over everything...

The Valentines colour is quite pretty. Nice shading and such, not overly Valentine.. Yeah, nice.

The puffer fish outfit is.. meh. Not very Koi like.. At least make a Freddi Fish inspired outfit or something

Buuuut at least the puffer fish is a fish. That elegant outfit looks nothing like a Koi, more like a water dragon XD As pretty as all these pieces genuinely are, they do all feel rather.. ehm.. disjointed? Like.. none really seem to be fit for customisation. They're pretty pieces on their own though ^^

Valentine's cute enough - if I could stand the fin-fists I'd consider one.

The outfits though... Especially the NC one? Don't look like Koi. The NC one is just an anthro fish. I wish they would stop trying to change the Neopets style - you see it in all their merch these days too. Neopets has a distinct look and they should especially stick to it on site!

I like the Valentine colour. I don't like the puffer fish, the colour is weird and the Koi is missing its signature crest. I dislike the kimono outfit. Like others mentioned, it doesn't look like a fish, let alone a koi anymore. Meh. Disappointed.

Not them selling the fins of the puffer fish separately T_T
I know the NP outfit is usually sold in pieces but the body without its fins is just cruel lol T_T

I love that they've been making the pet day cap outfits more Pet Style-like rather than just outfits and I think the Koi is gorgeous but I can see what people mean about it not really looking like a Neopets.com Koi.

The Valentines Koi is cute, I like that it's not over-the-top obnoxious like some other Valentines pets.

Valentine koi is really pretty. I appreciate that they scaled the heart-shaped theming back a little for this one, I prefer the simpler looks, though if I get one, I think I'll draw it with more of the heart-shaped spots. Cute!

The nc items are ok but I'm not a fan of them reusing the spider lily art assets from the Shoyru day caps

@crabbyb0tter: The Elegant Koi Outfit is likely placed further down because they designed it to look more proper in the Seren Pond background (maybe also with the Calming Stone Garden Foreground).

As for the art style, my guess is they probably were going for anime-esque.

Faerieland has turned grey!! Not Faerie City of course, just Faerieland, because Drakara's powers are very very limited XD

But the castle is in the city, if anything the city should be Grey and not the outskirts. (Of course you'd also think all the Shopkeepers and other NPCs you "interact" with would also be Greyed in affected lands)

This is not neopets anymore! Thats why i gave up in my 20+ year account and cancel my premium. Every update they made is a big no for me. I prefer to play in Gcafe now.

A Sludgy Maraquan after all this time. I love that its very sandy and has shells hehe. Would make for a cute petpet for some nice themed beach pets.
